Formula One enters its seventh race of the 2013 season this weekend in Monte Carlo (May 26th), the grand-daddy of all motor racing events, which will be shown live in the United States on NBC.
F1 already enjoys approximately 1.8 billion global TV viewers
for their races and the numbers are expected to continue to grow due to the
popularity of the United States F1 Grand Prix in Austin, Texas (November 17th)
at the Circuit of Americas. There are now plans to host an F1 race in New
York/New Jersey within the next few years.
Off to a fast start, the Marussia F1 Team has signed two new drivers for the 2013 season, Max Chilton and Jules Bianchi, who have already proven to be huge media and fan favorites.
